Practice Fees

​Monday to Saturday: Mixed Billing

We operate as a mixed billing practice from Monday to Saturday, standard consult fee is from $85 with Medicare rebate approx. $45. See the table below for common consult fees. 

• Bulk Billing: Available at the GP’s discretion for appointments for children aged 0–15 and valid Pension/Concession card holders.

• Walk-ins? Private fees apply for all patients, please call in advance to see if we can accommodate you as a walk in.  

• New Patients: Private fees generally apply to all new patients for their initial consultation.

Sunday & Public Holidays: Private Billing

Private fees apply to all appointments on Sundays and Public Holidays.

• After-Hours Standard Consult: From $110 (Medicare rebate approx. $58).
   

Private Fee Exceptions & Procedures

Private fees apply to all patients for:

• Telehealth consultations

• Travel consultations

• Skin checks and minor procedures

• Wound repair and complex dressings

• Ear syringing

• ECG and Spirometry
   

Dr Geoffrey Darvas

Dr Darvas specialises in consultations for children and adolescents up to 19 years old.

• Billing Policy: Appointments incur a private fee unless the patient holds a valid Pension or Health Care Card.

• Initial Consultations are 30 minutes. The fee is $140 (Medicare rebate approx. $87).

Bulk-Billed Health Assessments & Care Plans

We offer dedicated bulk-billed appointments for proactive health management. Please discuss eligibility with your regular GP for:

• Chronic Disease Management Care Plan preparation

• Annual Health Assessments for patients aged 75 and over

• The 45–49-year-old health check

Non-Attendance Fees

If you are unable to attend an appointment, please call our reception staff to reschedule at least 6 hours before for GP consultations - if you do not provide adequate notice a $50 fee may apply. MediPhysio requires 24 hours notice for any changes, our Psychologists require 48 hours or fees apply.
