PRACTICE FEES

Hornsby Fountain Medical Centre is a privately owned and operated practice. We aim to be a caring, quality provider of comprehensive medical services to the community of Hornsby. Doctors providing services at Hornsby Fountain Medical Centre operate on a mixed billing model and set their own fees.

Consultation fees reflect the complexity, time taken to consult with you, and your doctor’s estimate of the time to be taken to complete related administration/referrals. HotDoc fees and merchant fees may apply (please note these fees are imposed by the payment platform or bank). We no longer bulk bill all consultations, see below:

Monday to Saturday

Most of our GPs operate on a mixed billing model, bulk billing is available for children U16yo and pension/concession card holders Monday to Saturday. For all other patients, fees usually apply - some of our GPs still bulk bill for most patients for 1-issue standard consults of up to 10mins. For longer consultations,  wound repair/or other procedures in our treatment room, fees apply for all patients. When booking your appointment please ask reception if you have any questions about fees. If you are booking online via HotDoc, the booking terms will inform you of the expected fees.

Sunday and Public Holidays

Private fee payable for all patients (approx. gap $45 after Medicare rebate).
