Having a My Health Record means your important health information like allergies, medical conditions and treatments, medicine/prescription details, blood test results and scans as well as hospital discharges can be shared.

The Australian Government announced in the 2017 Budget the creation of a My Health Record for every Australian to begin nationally from mid-2018.  If you don’t already have a My Health Record, a new record will be automatically created for you, unless you choose not to have one.
