Dr Sohael Rahman
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Rahman commenced at Hornsby Fountain in 2017 after moving to Australia from Great Britain. His specialist interests include chronic disease management and men's health. He has held a variety of roles in London where he completed his GP training after qualifying from The University of Nottingham. He has previously worked as a doctor at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and has looked after the Houses of Parliament and local homeless Passages in Westminster. He is also an experienced GP Trainer and has taught at Imperial College, London.
Dr Sohael is available Monday to Thursday.

Dr Darvas is an experienced GP who has a special interest in the health and well being of children.
Dr Darvas sees children and young adults aged up to 19 years old only, by appointment only.
A small out of pocket expense is payable to see Dr Darvas.

Dr Renu is an experienced female GP. She has undergone extra training in the health of children, gaining her Diploma of Child Health. Dr Renu also has a special interest in women's health including extra training in hormonal health and has completed a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology. She is qualified to perform IUD (Mirena) insertion and removal.

Dr Ranil Perera
FRACGP, DCH
​Dr Perera is one of our full time doctors with several years of experience in General Practice with a background of emergency medicine in a tertiary care hospital setting and rural general practice. He’s a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and has a Diploma in Child Health. He has an interest in all aspects of general medicine and enjoys continuity of care for his patients

Dr Mayooran is an experienced female GP who commenced at this practice in 2014. She completed her initial training in the UK.
Dr Arun has over 16 years' experience as a doctor and 11 years' experience as a General Practioner. Dr Arun completed her general practice training in rural NSW.
Dr Arun is available Monday, Friday, Saturdays, and most Public Holidays.​

Dr Jaya is a very experienced female GP. Before coming to Hornsby she had her own family practice on the Central Coast for 30 years. She covers all aspects of family care.

Dr Ghoochani is a female with more than 10 years of experience. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Dr Simin is a member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA), and she has an Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy from the college. Dr Simin is also proudly a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and has a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr Simin is available Monday to Friday and also speaks Farsi.​

Dr Jing is an experienced female GP. She trained as a dermatologist in China before coming to Australia and undergoing training as a GP more than 15 years ago. Dr Jing has a special interest in skin problems and skin cancer treatment.

Dr Cameron Nik

Conjoint Associate Lecturer, Macquarie University
​Dr Nik completed his medical training in Iran and has been practising as a GP in Australia for over a decade. After moving to Australia, he gained experience in both rural and urban settings across QLD. He enjoys caring for patients at all stages of life, from infants to the elderly. As a passionate and dedicated medical professional, Dr Nik relocated to NSW in 2015.
He values building strong relationships with his patients and supports them in achieving their health goals. He collaborates with them to educate, diagnose, and treat their health concerns. In his free time, Dr Nik enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and travelling. He speaks both English and Persian (Farsi).
Dr Cameron is dedicated to helping patients manage their chronic illnesses, particularly obesity and diabetes. He is actively involved in education and advocacy at both the local PHN and state levels to improve care for individuals with these conditions. In addition, he holds clinical and academic roles at the Macquarie University Hospital (MUH) clinics.​
